This beginner-level workshop teaches the basic skill set necessary to paint most miniatures. Students will be taught how to inspect miniatures for flaws, correct them, and prime for paint. Techniques taught will include paint thinning, washes, and dry brushing. At the end of the workshop, students should feel confident in their ability to paint a miniature up to a tabletop quality level. (2 hours) Limit 15 participants, $5 materials fee.

Playing a modified version of CaH: No minimum or maximum hand size and outside/custom cards are not allowed. Buy-in is $0.25 per white card, and cards can be purchased after questions are asked. The game runs two hours, or until all black cards are claimed. Anyone can buy in at any time (except during the last 10 minutes). There is no limit to the number of players. The "Don't be a Jerk" rule is in full effect. The player with the most points at the game's end will win a Cards Against Humanity Starter Box. All proceeds benefit SoonerCon's designated charity, Positive Tomorrows. This game is recommended for "mature" audiences only (18+).

A bona-fide “rocket scientist,” Dr. Johnson has just one mission—to ensure the world has enough energy for a prosperous future. Although he has devoted his life to solving some of the world’s most complex technological problems, he is best known for his widely popular invention, the Super Soaker water gun. Dr. Johnson is a prolific inventor and holds more than 100 patents, the vast majority of which are energy-related. Muggle Quidditch is a sport based on Quidditch, the fictional sport developed by British author J. K. Rowling in the Harry Potter series of children's novels, as governed by the International Quidditch Association. As in the fictional sport, muggle quidditch has seven players on each team: 3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper, and 1 seeker. Muggle Quidditch has been adapted for play on the ground, with game play confined to a playing field comparable in size to an ice hockey rink. The sport is adapted using elements of rugby, dodge ball, tag, and lacrosse. Visit the game room for rules and to sign up.
