Wm. (William) Mark Simmons is the author of eight fantasy and science-fiction novels, the first of which was a finalist for the Compton Crook Award and made the LOCUS “Best” List in 1991. Baen Books has just released A Witch in Time, fifth in the Half/Life series. He was the Interfilk Guest musician at FilKONtario 20 in 2010. He has served as Toastmaster at OKon XV, Conestoga 2, and (twice) at ConQuest 28 and 39. He recently retired from an award-winning 40-year career in broadcasting & journalism, and is currently working on his next novel.
