Summer Rain is a cosplayer of 7 years from Chicago and OKC. While Summer loves crafting and the art of costuming, their real passion is in theatrical presence and bringing characters to life, and mostly specializing in fandoms of gaming and anime. Summer is one half of the duo KiraKira Brigade, Oklahoma’s premiere independent Japanese-inspired idol group, and when they’re not on stage performing, can be found hosting fandom and Japanese-culture events in the OKC metro area like maid cafes and cosplay gatherings. A fanfiction author for 15 years, Summer also writes in popular fandoms like Pokémon, Fire Emblem, and Sailor Moon, participating in NaNoWriMo every year from the fanfiction perspective.
