Matthew L. Price is a journalist, filmmaker, and comic-shop owner from Norman, OK. He and his wife, Annette, celebrated 20 years of their store, Speeding Bullet Comics, in 2018. Matt is the co-writer and producer of the indie superhero feature film The Posthuman Project and the writer-producer of the film The Grave. Matt also co-wrote the short films Paradox, Heroes of the Realm, Overdue, Semi-Social, and The Bulleteers. Comic books written by Matt include The Grave, Team: Awesome!, and Agent Blue.

Matt has written about comics, film, and geek culture as a journalist for more than two decades.

"Overdue" & "Semi-Social" Short Films Screenings with Q&A

48Hour Festival Audience Choice winning short film, "Overdue" tells the story of a pregnant librarian seeking the perfect baby name who goes into labor and is joined on her journey by characters from her favorite books. With time running out, her husband hits the road to get her to the hospital. "Semi-Social" shows a tech addicted teen attempting to attract the girl of his dreams and gets help from an unexpected source. Both short films will be followed by Q&A with director Ricky Pope and writer/producer Matthew Price.
