Oak (David Rice), only recipient of the “DM of the Year” award, is a writer, storyteller, and advocate. Oak is the owner of @OakstaffGames, a company aimed at improving the accessibility of role-playing games to a broader audience. His advocacy work includes the deaf, blind, deaf-blind, LGBTQIA+, autism, and native communities. He is a proud Hufflepuff, loves to travel with the Doctor, and has a blue lightsaber. He is a Ranger who has lived in and explored the Ozark Mountains, and lives with his husband in Tucson, exploring the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains of Southern Arizona. Oak is also fluent in American Sign Language.
