Melinda is an arts educator with a wide variety of interests and hobbies. She is a teacher- trainer with the Arkansas A+ program of arts integration. She brings children and teachers into the world of castles or log cabins, providing hands-on experiences to bring history alive. Hobbies included spinning and handweaving. Her published writings include non-fiction, a magazine column on traditional herbal use, and a number of short stories. She hopes to get a story published in almost every genre possible. So far she’s made it in alternative history, paranormal, horror, Steampunk, fantasy, and political fiction. She is currently working on a poetry chapbook, several short stories and hopefully someday, she will have that fantasy novel finished . . .
