Stevo the Gutter Nerd

Based in Fort Worth, TX, Stevo has been podcasting since 2011. He’s written webcomics, self-published a graphic novel, and even sung in a ska band. Seriously. He currently hosts, edits, and directs the Gutter Nerds podcast, which focuses on videogame topics. He also runs the corresponding Gutter Nerds Twitch channel, which airs a variety of gaming shows including online multiplayer, couch co-op, and retro streams. When he’s not streaming, Stevo provides closed captions for the hearing- impaired to TV channels across the country.

Rubiee Tallyn Hayes

Rubiee is a renaissance Pooka who sings, writes, blends geeky loose-leaf teas, and creates functional pottery. Her mischievous grin and bright laugh herald her arrival. She owns Dryad Tea and Dryad Pottery, where her art is available for purchase. Find her at the Art Show.

John Eads

John Eads is a member of JediOKC and the Oklahoma Garrison of the 501st Legion. He is active in community service and volunteer work throughout the state of Oklahoma. He’s passionate about bringing the magic and joy of characters to those in need within the community. An award-winning costume designer and fabricator, his focus remains simply on FUN. No matter the skill level . . . no matter the budget . . . so long as people enjoy and encourage the art of costuming and cosplay—they’re winning!

Elijah Farmer

Elijah Farmer is notable for being almost important. He is a founding member of the Oklahoma City Beard Club, a Renaissance festival enthusiast, Technical Director for the Dust Bowl Dolls, and lover of all things geek. Elijah can generally be found running sound and music at various places of ill repute around Oklahoma City, but on Saturday night he will be taking care of your karaoke needs at SoonerCon!

They Act Human

“They Act Human” is an Art Sunday project based on horror and sci-fi movies, 80s video game music, sad robot stories, and sometimes math metal. Built by hand, note by note … from Oklahoma but now living in Atlanta. They Act Human has made music for movie soundtracks and audio books. All songs written and performed by Art Sunday.

Ravens Three

Straight outta OKC, Ravens Three is an acoustic trio that performs a wide variety of traditional and nontraditional Celtic and folk music. Two of the current Ravens, Audra Blankenship-Pierce and Shawna Kennedy, helped to form the band in early 2013. They welcomed guitarist-vocalist Russell Pierce in 2017 to form the current high-energy, table-pounding drive that is “Okie Folkin’” Ravens Three. The Ravens continue to meet wonderful people on their musical journey and appreciate their friends more than they could possibly express. They look forward to an CAW-some future!

Bland Lemon Denton

Bland Lemon Denton, the World’s Oldest (and Worst) Bluesman, was born in 1892 in Yodee, Mississippi (which at that time also encompassed parts of Arkansas and Connecticut), and immediately began singing the Blues. He’s been joined by bassist Caroline “Honey Badger” Spector, drummer Bob “Thumper” Yeager, vocalist Sherri “Monkey Queen” Dean, and (on lucky occasions) David Lee “Psychobot” Anderson. Bland Lemon Denton and the Lemon-Aides, inspire admiration, fear, and confusion. When not playing gigs, Bland also acts as literary executor for the works of sf/f writer Bradley Denton (Blackburn, Lunatics, Buddy Holly Is Alive and Well on Ganymede, etc.), despite the fact that Denton claims to still be alive.

Melinda LaFevers

Melinda is an arts educator with a wide variety of interests and hobbies. She is a teacher- trainer with the Arkansas A+ program of arts integration. She brings children and teachers into the world of castles or log cabins, providing hands-on experiences to bring history alive. Hobbies included spinning and handweaving. Her published writings include non-fiction, a magazine column on traditional herbal use, and a number of short stories. She hopes to get a story published in almost every genre possible. So far she’s made it in alternative history, paranormal, horror, Steampunk, fantasy, and political fiction. She is currently working on a poetry chapbook, several short stories and hopefully someday, she will have that fantasy novel finished . . .

Ethan Nahté

Ethan Nahté is an author, journalist, screenwriter, photographer, and musician. He has several years of experience working in TV/Film/Radio. He has over 30 published stories and poems spanning speculative fiction, historical fiction, comedy, pulp, and young adult. He has two story collections, Of Monsters & Madmen and The Undead Ate My Head, plus the novellas The Savage Caged and Wings of Mercury.

Haileigh Todd

Haileigh Todd is an actress, voice actress, writer, director and musician from Dallas, TX. She participated in eighteen shows in high school, directing two. She earned a nomination for a Teen Choice Award for her role as Eve Rosser in Rachel Caine’s Morganville: The Series, starring alongside geek-culture veterans Robert Picardo and Amber Benson. Recently she has been involved in multiple productions at Funimation, giving voices to characters such as Takashi in Hinamatsuri, Edstrom in Overlord, Shannon in The Ancient Magus’ Bride, and the Young Goblin Slayer in Goblin Slayer. Her obsessions include anything and everything purple, everything food-related, and pranking. She moonlights as a flight attendant for Endeavor Air.
