JediOKC

Jedi OKC is Oklahoma’s largest Star Wars Fan Club. Established in 2001, it originally was a place for like-minded fans to share their love of Star Wars. Today, its membership embraces numerous sci-fi and pop-culture genres. Open to the public and family-friendly, our bond has expanded beyond a pop-culture phenomenon and become something more. Our costumed characters have supported dozens of local charities and events, keeping our weekends full with appearances at area schools, fundraisers, and conventions.

Aalim Bellydance Academy

The Aalim Bellydance Academy, founded in 1997, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school for dance. It specializes in a wide variety of styles of Middle Eastern dance, from oriental to Turkish Rom fusion, to tribal fusion and American Tribal Style. Classes are offered weekly at the Aalim studio located at 2520 N. Meridian in Oklahoma City.

Arthurian Order of Avalon

The Arthurian Order of Avalon (AOA) is a non-profit educational organization which seeks to teach its members and audiences about the virtues and ideals attributed to the legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. The AOA builds leadership skills including how to use traditional medieval arms, art and craftsmanship, performance skills, wilderness survival, domestic care, and much more! Central Oklahoma’s AOA is for all ages, and is always looking for new members Join our quest to follow the dream of Avalon! 

501st Legion

Since 1997, the 501st Legion has become a leading force in fan-based charity events around the world. Members of the Legion have heightened awareness at promotional events, helped raise millions of dollars for charity, and spread the magic of Star Wars to fans of all ages. We are a non-profit volunteer costuming club based on the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas. Each of our members has constructed and paid for their own costumes, which are required to meet strict requirements that match film, pictures, game, or text references.

Serendipity

Established in 1988 for the purpose of getting Doctor Who back on OETA, Serendipity is a nonprofit, members-only organization that promotes British and American science fiction. The club has been the sponsor of British TV & More and Tea Time with the Doctor at the local science fiction conventions Conderosa, DarkCon, Pandamonium, SoonerCon, and ThunderCon. We meet the third Saturday of each month to watch videos, have snacks, and discuss the latest in science fiction news. Dates and times of our meetings are available on our Facebook page.
