EBA Comedy is a cosplay improv and MC group based around the American Midwest. They specialize in performing as their characters in improv situations. EBA Comedy is also well-known throughout the Midwest for their famous panel “Cosplay Combat,” where the audience interacts with each other in cosplay/D&D/larping on the big stage.
John Ferguson enters his 61st year as Count Gregore. It began on WKY–TV, channel 4, the NBC affiliate in OKC, on Saturday night, May 10, 1958 at 11:30 p.m. Shock Theater, intended for a two–year run, remained undead until 1988! John continues to make personal appearances at special events. His many years in television spanned almost every facet of the broadcast business. John was in the first class of the Speculative Fiction Hall of Fame, inducted in 2013 at SoonerCon 22. He has also appeared in a number of theatrical stage shows, comedies, and musicals from Indiana to Hollywood. He is grateful and blessed to consider his life and career—with more to come!
Take One was created in 2007 when Cory J. Philips refused to stop improvising just because school was ending. Since then, Cory has created a community of collaborators eager to work on one another’s projects instead of focusing solely on individual accomplishments.
Take One is an improv troupe, focusing on a new and dynamic short-form show featuring unique and energetic games that seek to find the funny in fandom. Take One Improv has grown from free local shows to packing rooms at conventions nationwide, with a loyal fan base as enthusiastic and quirky as the members of Take One themselves.
Oklahoma City’s R2-D2 is a full-scale replica of the astromech droid from the Star Wars universe. Constructed of aluminum and steel, fully remote-controlled with authentic lights and sounds, Artoo is ready to save the day and help raise money for charities.
R. Cat Conrad’s creativity encompasses many areas, including illustration, painting, collecting, and entertainment. He’s known for his sly repartee as an auctioneer and panelist at numerous media and SF conventions. Cat’s most popular artistic works are his space landscapes and dragon sketches. He’s also a Golden Age comic–book historian, collector, and comics investment advisor. He co-starred in Rachel Caine’s Morganville series as the Vampire Enforcer.
Michael Corley is a master magician and storyteller who has made a career of entertaining children for over twenty years. After graduating from the University of Texas, Michael moved to Oklahoma where he worked in radio broadcast for seven years. Besides magic, he acts and does voice-overs for television and radio. He writes on children’s entertainment for My Kids Adventures. Since 2010 he’s been the host and dungeon-master of the Chafing Armor podcast. Michael lives in Norman with his wife, Jennifer and daughter, Isabel.
vickey malone kennedy, AKA vck, claims to be a writer of science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal romance. She actually spends most of her time rewriting her own stories, editing other people’s stories, and judging story-writing contests. vck is a former president of Oklahoma Writers’ Federation, Inc.; former editor-in-chief for 4RV Publishing; and a co-founder of Rose Rock wRiters. She has won numerous writing awards including the Darrell Award for Best Mid-South Short Story, the OWFI Crème de la Crème Award, and 1st Place in Genre Fiction in Writers’ Digest 85 Annual Competition. vck is a retired nurse, a full-time writer, a full-time granny, and a part-time actress represented by BK Talent Agency.
Haileigh Todd is an actress, voice actress, writer, director and musician from Dallas, TX. She participated in eighteen shows in high school, directing two. She earned a nomination for a Teen Choice Award for her role as Eve Rosser in Rachel Caine’s Morganville: The Series, starring alongside geek-culture veterans Robert Picardo and Amber Benson. Recently she has been involved in multiple productions at Funimation, giving voices to characters such as Takashi in Hinamatsuri, Edstrom in Overlord, Shannon in The Ancient Magus’ Bride, and the Young Goblin Slayer in Goblin Slayer. Her obsessions include anything and everything purple, everything food-related, and pranking. She moonlights as a flight attendant for Endeavor Air.
